Galvanized steel, aluminum, powder coat 18 x 8 x 7 feet

This colorful umbrella tree lives in the imaginations of the artists, who reside in the soggy Pacific Northwest. Incessant rains fuel this trees growth while the parasol flowers provide refuge from the areas frequent downpours.

High Tide

High Tide

Fabricated Bronze, Steel
26 x 19 x 8 inches

The moon and its influence on the tide have always been mysterious and fascinating to me. The ebb and flow created by the moon’s pull is subtle yet powerful, and has a rippling effect on all living organisms. It is testament to the interconnectedness of life. High Tide captures the grace, rhythm and beauty of this intriguing phenomenon.

Rise

Rise

Stainless steel, powder coat
8.5 x 5 x 2 feet

Strong Body. Open Mind. Full Spirit.

This winged woman with her angelic presence is floating upwards, rising to meet the potential that lies within. While her open heart exposes her vulnerability and the chink on her lower body hints at imperfection, these marks of humanness provide a roadmap to a life of complete fulfillment. The color red signifies passion and flow of blood, for while she is angelic in presence, she is very human in nature.

Rise was selected Puyallup Washington's Art Downtown 2012 "People's Choice" and now a part of their permanent collection.

Shapely

Steel, powder coat
9 x 4.5 x 2 feet

A childlike fascination with bright colors and puzzle pieces resurfaces as we play with vivid yet simple shapes; piecing them together to create flowing lines and a sensuous, more grown-up form.

Attitude

Attitude

Mild Steel
36 x 12 x 7 inches

On the surface she’s all about fun, dance and movement. But dig deeper and you’ll find she is Attitude. She’s political, she’s passionate, she’s interested. By no means is she reserved. This sculpture conveys rhythm and motion, yet her position is that split-second “freeze” before starting to move again -
a personal statement within the dance of life.
